Equal, Yet Different

Today is international women's day, a reminder in a way that we are still not equal (otherwise why the hell would we need a day?) despite years of work and claims by many feminists that we are equal.
I eschew the term feminist myself - it brings to mind the lunatic fringe of feminism, and prefer to call myself an equalist, even though I know we'll never be considered 100% equal in this world.
We're the "weaker" sex (despite a scientifically proven higher pain tolerance and better stamina), we are the sex that is unable to fix complex things and just can't get computers gosh darnit. We have a long way to go before we're close to equal, and we need to stop shooting ourselves in the proverbial foot. Until that happens, we'll never have a chance to be equals.
