Wow. Nice to see people coming out and a bit more interest in Kiss the Flame. I’ve kept pretty quiet on here about that project, mainly because I wasn’t sure I’d be able to finish it, and then I wasn’t sure if I was going to actually throw it to the world or not.

So [waves] Hi there to new readers and big hugs to my current ones as well. If you’re coming from LibraryThing, wondering what the hell you just won – well, I guess it’s time to revisit the synopsis of Kiss the Flame and give some details about the 100th post give-away.

What is Kiss the Flame?

Set in the late 70′s Kiss the Flame introduces you to the up and coming band Torrent on their second tour.  The band is just starting to get to the point where their music is being heard by a wide variety of people and their fortunes have finally started changing for the better. But, not everything is as sunny and happy as it might seem.

Jonathan, their vocalist, is haunted by demons of his own making – finding his only escape in drugs and alcohol. His habits begin to spiral out of control, threatening both the future of the band and the friendship between him and the band’s bassist – Ryan – which just may be the only thing that can pull him back from the edge of the abyss he teeters on.

It’s sex, drugs and rock n’ roll with a twist that’ll shock right to the core.

The next post will be the 100th post here on the blog. To celebrate, I’m giving away 5 signed copies of the book. What do you have to do to get one? It’s easy. Just drop a comment on this post and let me know you’re interested.  On February 15th, I’ll announce the winners.
