Yes, I know, I'm a bad blogger. I've been out of circulation in the past bit, trying to get things done behind the scenes and forgetting to update here regularly. I'm going to have to set myself a reminder to post what I'm up to at least three times a week, aren't I?
Right now, I'm, yet again, working on a lot of back end things that make things run smoothly, but you don't get a big WOW from seeing. I've also picked up my programming, so maybe in the future, there will be an app for this site both on Android and iPhone... and maybe Blackberry if I feel like going that far. Is BlackBerry even relevant anymore as a smartphone platform outside the business world?
Spring is finally here, which means that I should be able to venture outside and actually get back into doing the things I love. Having had a nasty fall over the winter (yet again), really takes my ability to keep doing what I love and cuts it down to nothing. Well, that and the fact I'm in Canada, which means it's flipping freezing until May. So, expect more updates as the spring turns into summer.
I was very pleased to see that Within Temptation will be having two Canadian dates on their tour. I really hate it when bands say "US/Canada tour" and then stop in... Toronto. Sorry, Torontonians, I've been elsewhere in the world, and you really are small fish. You are NOT all of Canada, no matter what you may think.*
Yes, I am aware of concert markets and know that where I am is not generally considered a first choice/"A" market. Still, even adding Montreal would be nice, as I can get to it easily rather than having to argue with DHS when entering the States. No matter how smoothly it goes, it's always an entertaining half hour to two hours of my time, depending on what crossing I go to.
Well, with that, I return to the salt mines of Java coding. Have a great weekend and remember...
It's all in the name of rock n' roll !
*Disclaimer: I have relatives in Toronto and love the city myself.
