Watching Worlds Crumble
Apr. 16th, 2010 10:10 pmI’ve recently started on a new life path. Things have changed, and I’ve got a different road ahead of me. Some days, I know I’m still going to feel like Sisyphus – rolling that boulder up the freaking hill only to be squished by it.
Someone today told me that I seem to think I’m the centre of the universe. Um, I’m well aware that the world doesn’t revolve around me. Hell, it would be great if it did! I’d love it if my every whim were catered to. No, I’m your average person… facing some large problems, but still your average person.
I wish I had more news to write about right now. Other than it’s been raining, and that I’ve set some goals that will be done in a year, there isn’t much to say. It’s been a quiet time around, which only means that the storm is coming.
For your daily dose of humour – we all know about the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), and how it was stopped by a bird with a bit of bread, right? Frighteningly, the same day that it happened, I found a baguette under my bumper. I have no clue how it got there. Coincidence? I think not.
