I promised that I’d get around to making a post about this wonderful event, and here it is, if a bit delayed. I’m posting it in two parts to make it a bit more digestible for everyone – who wants to read a marathon post, right?
First, I’d like to thank Luc Lalande for working to get this event here in Ottawa. Thank you my friend for encouraging change and knowledge. Secondly, Mr. Alan Neal – thank you for being a wonderful, hilarious and engaging MC.
There were four speakers – the first being Banu Örmeci. Dr. Örmeci is an associate professor and Canada Research Chair in Wastewater and Public Health Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carleton University.
