So, after a long bit where my health has been shit, I was getting ready to go Geocaching again. For those of you who have never done this, it’s a scavenger hunt using a GPS device – and it can be quite fun. I had an account on the Geocaching site, and went to login. I put my “assumed” username into it with the password that I remembered being mine. Yes, there is a reason for “assumed”. No dice. Thinking, okay, I forgot my password, I put my email in, and got my password. Password was just as I remembered it. It was my USERNAME that had been modified. Checking their site, they’d recycled my username, which had been registered in 2003, by adding inactive to it.
